The media and literature department in the church play a major role in the church of recording and production of church events. The unit has the obligation, upon request, to digitally do an audio/video recording of events in the church for duplication and record keeping. God uses literature/media to speak to the hearts of many people. Media and literature is another way of spreading the gospel of God. There is a great need to equip church leaders with Bibles and Bible resources that can strengthen their ministries to their local churches and communities. Media/literature communicates where words are difficult to use since it is an expressive way of communicating the word of the Lord. The literature and cassette should be distributed by the ushers at the end of service either in the church library or at the exit/entrance door whereby they are given either at a cost or free. This department should know that they have been chosen by God and God is holy. Holiness makes us walk worthy and make our lives glorious to God. (1 Thessalonians 2:12) and as such anyone working in this department should maintain high standard of discipline. Everyone in this unit must be diligent e.g. should study the word of God and should be diligent in prayers. Media and literature department is a powerful tool used for worship as well as an act of worship itself. The brethrens involved in this department leads to an action of faithfulness and consecration. Cassette and literature in the church should play a role of instructing and inspiring the members. All working in this department should be educated and trained. They should always be available whenever they are needed as well as being committed and dedicated to the ministry. Media and literature brings glory and praise to God. This unit also works as a tool of comforting and strengthening the weak people in the ministry. All working in this department must be faithful in church attendance, must be committed in the church projects, and must also be faithful to church finance.
