Security is the degree of resistance to, or protection from, harm. It applies to any vulnerable and valuable asset, such as a person, dwelling, community, nation, or organization. Church security is about protection and preservation of men, materials and information which are regarded as the property of the church. The first man to employ a security guard was God himself whereby the guard was an angel. Insecurity in the world started immediately after man was thrown out from the Garden of Eden. Immediately Adam felt that his life was in danger, and they looked for measures of protection. God was concerned by the personal insecurity in the life of Adam and his wife Eve (Genesis 3:21). Security is so important that God decided not to leave the garden without security after He chased the man out of the Garden of Eden. Security has various threats which includes; Sabotage, sabotage is an action calculated to cause physical damage on anything or person in the interest of external powers. Meaning; somebody from within is used by the outsider to do destruction from within. Espionage; it is the secret or covert means by which countries, organizations and individuals acquire or attempt to acquire information of national, organizational or personal interest to which they are entitled. Burglary; it is an attempt to take away, steal or rob from individuals or organization. There is also an act of arm robbery approach that refers to use of arm to take away, steal or rob from individuals or organization. Man cannot live in the isolation without neighbors, relations, colleagues psalms 57; 1. The last threat of security is subversion. Subversion is an action taken to undermine the loyalty of people under authority in order to further the interest of foreign powers or subversive organizations. Design of security system. The success of any good security system depends on the following factors; calculate design (2 kings 11; 4-11), knowledge of target (2kings 6; 8-12) , good assessment of the threat 2kings 6;14,15, and education/consciousness of all personnel 2kings 6;8-10. The bible says that there are perils of neglecting security 1samuel 30;1-6, Joshua 2;1-20, 2 kings 20;12-18. This means that there are many dangers where there is no conscious effort made to ensure adequate protection for God’s people and Property. Protection cases from the scriptures;
