The favour of God will come upon every one that lives in righteousness and will bring divers blessings upon them. A man that refuses to please God will be separated from His favour (Psalms 5; 12). God is willing to bless the righteous and also protect him with the weapon of favour. When the favour of God is upon a man, he will be secured and protected against all oppositions and anti-favour moves of men. We can see this kind of favor operating in the life of Daniel. He and all the Israelites as prisoners in Babylon. For reasons that can't be explained naturally, though, he had favor with the leaders of the land. "Now God had brought Daniel into favor and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs" (Daniel 1:9). In other accounts we learn that Daniel had so much favor with the leaders of the land, he was elevated to prestigious positions in the Babylonian kingdom. Even though the circumstances were stacked against him, Daniel eventually became the prime minister of Babylon. Divine favor does not belong to all but only to the elect, and as a child of the Most High God we are legally in line for an out pouring of divine favor and promotion that is coming our way.
What happens when your time of favour comes.
When the time of favor comes, God will arise and he will show His mercy. It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. When a man is operating in divine favor, not only can you not kill him, you cannot kill his dreams. There are several people who just like Joseph had some very big dreams. In Genesis 37; 5 -11 Joseph had a dream. Then he told his brothers, even an idiot could interpret the dream; this little boy said the dream I had is that all you my brothers you are going to bow down before me. And the brother said, “You! We will see”. Then he had another dream, again he dreamt, and this time he said not even just the brother; my father and my mother they too they are going to be bowing down, so they said “alright we will see”. When they saw him coming they say we will kill him and when he dies his dreams will die with him. When you are operating in divine favor, at home you will shine. According to Genesis 37; 3 among all the children of his father, Joseph was special, they said he was the son of the old age but he was special because God made him special. When you are operating in divine favor even in strange land, he will shine. When Joseph got to Egypt in Genesis 39 ;1 -6 the bible says almost immediately he arrived in Potiphar house he began to shine, Potiphar just took a look at him and saw the way things were going and said I hand over everything to you.
