Faith Celebration CentreMany people wonder why some people don’t finish well since had a very good beginning; your beginning can be small but God can turn your latter days to be greater job 8:7. Definitely when you are followed by people in your father’s house who did not finish well you are also followed by the same spirit of not finishing well.

Lack of Vision

Lack of vision in life is one of the major elements which will make you not to finish well. Vision is internal picture of where you are going in life hence without a vision in your life you are lost. People get vision after the separation from the lot; you must separate yourself from the crowd, you are not common, so your vision is not common. Don’t look at what your friend is doing and feel like doing the same thing. Get your own pathway in life. Caleb and Joshua refused to follow the mindset of other spies; they chose to follow their own path. (Numbers 13:30-31). Vision will take time and the right time; a timeless vision is an un-accomplishable vision (Ecclesiastes. 3). When the timing of a vision is missed, frustration sets in. (1 Samuel. 15:9-18; Exodus. 17:14). Don’t be a man though with a sight, yet walking like a blind. When you have no vision for life you walk aimlessly and live carelessly and die shamefully. Get the vision of your life today from God. You need to watch your vision; vision can be obtained through prayers (Acts 10:9-16). Prayers gives grace to vision, watching gives alertness and direction to vision. When prayers give birth to vision, watchfulness keeps it from being forgotten. There is need to write your vision down; a vision not written will soon be forgotten. God wrote down His vision for His creation in the bible. Write your own visions down too. If God would write, who are you not to write? You should also run with the vision. Activities of your vision must become a daily routine; it should be what you live for. Every vision encounters many oppositions from enemies and sometimes from your friends. Vision will give you endurance, energy and at the same time focus.

Disobedience to God

Disobedience to God can make you not to finish well. Obedience is the practical acceptance of the authority and will of God. It includes both submitting to Him and then expressing that submission in actions, words and thoughts. To be obedient is to be in agreement with God and to be in agreement with God is to be in a position of power in Christ. Disobedience is caused by rebellion and distrust of God. To be disobedient is to yield to self-will instead of surrendering to God and desiring His will in all things. God expects obedience (Deuteronomy 11:26-28). To choose Christ is to choose obedience (John 14:15, 21).
