Covenant With GodCovenant refers to as a binding to an agreement or a promise between two parties or people.Benefits of covenant with God require one to have a serious agreement with God and also demand you to obey and walk with God. Having covenant with God demands one to be different from others as you allow God to be your senior partner. This involves faith and obedience. You have to break ties with old groups and live to take a walk with God. In covenant walk, the goal is to seek divine guidance in the daily life's journey. God’s commandments or demands are not grievous (I John 5:3)and anyone who obeys the demands or terms of the covenant automatically becomes a beneficiary of God’s covenant blessings. We are called not to worry but rather be a person of thanksgiving.  Thanksgiving has the ability to cancel worry from your life. Thanksgiving is thanking God for what He has historically done in your life. You will either be a person of thanksgiving or a person of worry. David states not to forget these benefits. There are benefits of being a child of God and there are benefits of covenant with God. These are part of your benefit package as being part of the Kingdom.

Examples of benefits of covenant with God

He forgives all your iniquities. Because of the finished work of Christ and the shedding of blood of Jesus all your sins have been forgiven. He heals all your diseases; again because of the Blood of Jesus healing is available for everyone. Therefore we should thank God for healing our body, healing our soul, healing our mind. If you have ever been healed by God you should know that; they are benefits of covenant with God, which requires us to give Him thanks. He crowns your life with loving kindness and tender mercies. To crown your life means to build a shield. You are completely surrounded by the loving kindness and tender mercies of God. His mercies are new every morning. He satisfies your mouth with good things andHe enjoys fulfilling our requests. He takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servants. God satisfies your mouth which is where your desires take voice. When you give your desires a voice, God satisfies those desires with good things. God will multiply you exceedingly and He also breaks all the forms of bareness in your life that might have been set against your life by your enemies. Abraham has been blessed by God because of keeping covenant with Him;his descendants would multiply and inherit the land of Israel. Covenant will make you great and change your name; meaning that you never be in the same position. In Genesis. 46:3, God spoke to Israel, the man also called Jacob, and God said: "I am God, the God of your father; do not fear to go down to Egypt, for I will make of you a great nation there." This is what God said to Abraham's grandson Jacob and the descendants of Abraham were called Israel, the children of Israel; Israelites - who went down to Egypt as the family of Joseph, but came out - a great nation.
