FellowshipFellowship means sharing our love with each other. And when God designed men, He designed them for fellowship (Genesis 2; 8) where God says, "It is not good for man to be alone." Man was not made to be isolated. Being alone is not the will of God. People were made for fellowship. And the church, the body of Christ is a body for fellowship. The church is to be a fellowship. Not a building where you all alone walk in, listen and all alone walk out, but a place of fellowship. God wants to fellowship with us, and yet we do not talk to God, we do not seek Him. God awaits to fellowship with His children and yet we do not get closer to Him. Fellowship gives the individual believer strength and spiritual growth. It brings us closer to the Lord and in turn closer to those around us. It further gives us power in our life to live for the Lord and to be used to win others to Christ. When the members of a local church are in fellowship with the Lord, they will collectively strengthen their local church and it will give them the support they need. This means that the local church will be strong and be used of the Lord in its community. Fellowship is based on God's grace. It is based on our personal faith in Christ. It is based on confessing our sin one time and asking Him to forgive us and come into our life and then He keeps on and cleanses us from all unrighteousness. Where fellowship is ignored and not sought after and practiced there will be weak and worldly believers and they will produce a weak and worldly church. We learn from example, from teaching, from caring and from sharing one with another. If we are to have fellowship with God, we must walk in the light; we must walk in light because God is light. Because God is holy, there are certain things that we ought to do. We ought to give God our: Best Attention, when you come to worship God, give your attention to the praying, to the singing, to the preaching, to every aspect of worship. We must also give best Attitude to the Lord, our attitude determines our actions. So many times people cannot have fellowship with God because they come to worship God with a poor attitude.

Blessings Of Fellowship (1 john 1; 7).

Faith Celebration CentreWalking in the light is just another term for walking in the power of the Holy Spirit. It is to have all sins confessed and living the Spirit-controlled life. John says the blessings of this fellowship are: Communion with God and Man, “We have fellowship with one another.” The communion of the saints is to walk with God in fellowship with His people. Enoch was a man who walked with God. This communion comes through prayer and the Word. Cleansing from Sin, “...the blood of Jesus Christ Son cleanses us from all sin.” “It keeps on cleansing us.” The word means that this is an action that begun in the past that has present results. The blood of Jesus Christ never loses its power. Fellowship opens the door and also fellowship removes barriers that keep Christians apart and that keep Christian standing at a distance from one another.
