Redeemed Gospel ChurchSacrifice means giving to the Lord whatever He requires of our time, our earthly possessions, and our energies to further His work. The Lord commanded, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness” Mathew 6:33. Our willingness to sacrifice is an indication of our devotion to God. People have always been tried and tested to see if they will put the things of God first in their lives. The main mission of the devil is to pollute the strength of the sanctuary Daniel 11;31. If devil makes you weak he will do wrong to your business, family, and life church. The devil causes the spirit of sorrow and mourning Genesis 22; 1-2. Abraham sacrifice was beyond servant hood and this caused God to bless Abraham. God required animal sacrifices to provide a temporary covering of sins and to foreshadow the perfect and complete sacrifice of Jesus Christ (Leviticus 4:35, 5:10). Animal sacrifice is an important theme found throughout Scripture because “without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness” (Hebrews 9:22). When Adam and Eve sinned, animals were killed by God to provide clothing for them (Genesis 3:21). Cain and Abel brought sacrifices to the Lord. Cain's was unacceptable because he brought fruit, while Abel's was acceptable because it was the “firstborn of his flock” (Genesis 4:4-5). After the flood receded, Noah sacrificed animals to God (Genesis 8:20-21).

What the Sacrifice can do…

Power Of SacrificeOnly through sacrifice we win a battle that other things and people won’t help. Through sacrifice we can become worthy to live in the presence of God and only through sacrifice we can enjoy eternal life.  Sacrifice is a way of honoring God. The yoke of devil is broken through sacrifice. Sacrifice makes God to release covenant blessings. Abraham committed himself to do all that God commanded, even being willing to sacrifice, in response to God’s command, what was most precious to him his son Genesis 22:1-18. Of all men on earth, the Lord chose this faithful man to become the father of a covenant people. You will be made great and be given great possessions. When Abraham entered the land of Canaan, before Israel was established as a nation, there was a high priest by the name of Melchizedek, the King of Salem. "Salem" translated means "peace." When Abraham's nephew, Lot, had been captured by gentile kings and Abraham went and brought Lot back with all his possessions, Melchizedek went out to meet Abraham and blessed him. And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine, and he was the priest of the most high. And He blessed him, and said, blessed be Abram of the most high God, possess or of heaven and earth Genesis 14:18-19. Sacrifice will make heaven to open for you as well as making God to come down. Sacrifice will make you to enter into a divine covenant with God.
